“‘Do you struggle with finding a GREAT pair of jeans? I know I have in the past. This is one of the biggest things that my clients ask me about.
Something that I”ve found, is that the darker the blue wash in jeans, the better!! They make your legs look longer and appear more lean
- If you go for a mid-rise jean, you can eliminate the ”muffin top” that so many of us don”t find appealing
- Buy a pair of jeans that you feel tight when you”re in store. When you come home and have worn them a couple of times, the nature of the fabric is that they will STRETCH. You don”t want to buy jeans (and spend all of that hard-earned money) that don”t feel great after a couple of washes.
- A pair of jeans that are straight leg are a great cut to go for. They don”t flare out like a boot cut, so, 1) you won”t ”lose” your awesome heels or boots that you”ve got on and 2) they also draw the eye the whole way down which gives the illusion of longer legs.
- The final thing that I would say, is to avoid jeans that have ”fading” across the thigh area (front and back). If you”re conscious about your thighs, all this is doing is saying MY THIGHS ARE HERE!!!! If you don”t want to draw attention to that area of your leg, make sure you avoid jeans with fading!
My top picks for jeans right now are:
