Here are some Stylish Home Organisation Tips to get you on your way to the Ultimate Organised Life!
1. Give yourself a wardrobe makeover (see video for this: Wardrobe Makeover)
2. Clean out your home! Just like in a wardrobe makeover, go through each of your rooms and take notice of what is used and what is no longer of use to you. If you have things in your home that are in disrepair (and you’re not going to fix them!) get rid of them!
Remember that nothing has meaning except for the meaning that we give it and it”s often hard to part with pieces that cost a lot of money or have sentimental value. But, if those things are creating clutter then it”s not doing to be beneficial to your mindset. If you can”t bring yourself to get rid of it, consider relocating it to another part of your home that it may be of better use.
3. Put your belongings on eBay!! If you don”t want to pass your things onto a charity store/goodwill store, then put them on eBay!!! This way, you will be rewarded financially for those pieces that you no longer need!
4. An alternative to putting things on eBay is to hold a garage sale. Why not get your neighbours in on it as well and run a garage sale that spans a few houses….share the cost of the ad and get even more people there!!!
Most of all though, if you feel that this is a job that is bigger than you, there are plenty of experts out there that can assist you! Don”t get into the trap of feeling overwhelmed…..just ask for assistance if you need it!!
