Hi again everyone!!
I had an email from a very special lady asking for some information and I thought it would certainly benefit all of you!!
The question was what should we wear this Autumn/Winter if we don’t like animal print? Great question, huh?!?
I was in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, checking out the new seasons looks. I really believe that they key is that you need to invest in a great base layer (leggings/black pants/long sleeve tops) to wear as your staples or essentials underneath your accent clothes
Depending on your personal style, you may even opt for a black smart/casual dress that you can add different colour accents to.
You need to LAYER!! By doing this, those pieces that you have as your wardrobe essentials, will take you not only through Autumn, but also Winter and even into Spring! This way, when the day starts off cool, you have the maximum amount of clothing on (think wool knits, gorgeous jackets, leggings with dresses over the top with boots, etc). As the day warms up, you can remove a layer.
The key to layering is not to create bulk it can make you look bigger than what you are! So go for warm fabrics that don’t have the bulk.
Something else that seems to be really prominent this year is femininity. And, I AM LOVING IT!!! Dresses, skirts and soft fabrics are everywhere! Have a look at this Louis Vuitton picture! So ladylike!
Don’t forget one of the most FUN accessories of the minute, either: scarves!!!
REMEMBER, though. To shop for YOUR SHAPE first. The photos that I have included in here, are applicable for almost everyone no matter what your size! So, get out there and try some different things on!!

The biggest frustration that almost all of clients have, is that they want to be stylish, youthful and trendy in a way that is age appropriate. I believe that the looks above are all age appropriate for someone from 25-55 depending on their own personal style!!
Love Nicola
