Step 1 is to find an amazing Suitcase 😉 The ”best” ones in my opinion are ones that are reasonably light – so they don’t use up all of your baggage allowance from the word go!! (I’ve seen a great one that a wonderful friend of mine has by Samsonite).
Another great idea is to get one that is expandable. I travel with one like this, so that I can bring things home with me!!!! (Much to my husband”s displeasure hehe!!)
Ok! So, you’ve got the case sorted.
Make sure that you’re now packing in there, outfits that will mix and match.
So, you might want to take a dress, a skirt, a pair of pants, 3 tops that will go with the pants and the skirt, a cardigan and a jacket. Don’t forget leggins/tights just in case it’s cooler where you’re going! With those outfits make sure they will all MIX and MATCH! This way you don”t have to pack 101 skirt/top/pant combos!
Place your underwear in a zippered to keep them together. In Myer you can buy a pack of three. In one of the others, fold up your tops/pants/skirts and in the other place the pieces that don”t fit in the others! This will keep your case super organised and efficient.
Only take a couple of extra pairs of shoes – so long as they will mix and match in with the outfits that you’re taking!
Make sure you pack accessories! This way, you can be sure if you have to wear the same ‘outfit’ you can change it up a bit just by changing the accessories you put on with it!
