YOUR AMAZING  BRAIN

The solution always presents itself

Your mind, by design, is a problem solver – that you want to focus on the problem, but like how a stream always finds it’s way to the lowest part of the land, you cannot change the fact that your brain is designed to problem solve.

However, if you’re ignorant or not allowing the brain to do it’s job, you remain stuck and the pathways get hardened so it’s tougher for it seek and source solutions for you.

It’s like stagnant water, waiting and waiting for something – the next rainfall perhaps – rather than acknowledging the problem and then letting of the IMMEDIATE need/desire/urge to solve it.

If you’ve had problems you’ve needed a solution for and it doesn’t come ‘quickly to you’, how many times have you let it simmer, and then sometimes, in the middle of the night you wake up and you’re LIKE BAM!!!! There it is! That’s what I need to do.

The brain is always trying to find the way to help you.

I guess your job, in part, is to trust that it will do it’s job.

The way I do it is this:

I needed to go overseas and I couldn’t see a way that I was going to be able to make it happen. I wanted to get over there. I ‘needed’ to get over there.

So I made the decision to just sit with it for a while. Not focus on it. Not to dwell on it. Not to try to force it into submission and make it all happen with force

But rather, I gave myself some time and some space to journal on all the other things that came up. Sometimes this trip came up and sometimes it didn’t.

The message that kept coming through though, was that if I was meant to be there, a solution would present itself.

One day, as if by ‘magic’, there was like a lightning bolt to my brain and I was like “Of course that’s how I can make it happen”.. and then it did!

The right things fell into place so that the ‘issues’ that I had foreseen would be a stumbling block or a barrier to this actually happening dissipated.

Let your brain do it’s job.

Let the universe help you.

Focus on being solution based rather than lamenting, complaining, bitching or focussing on the negative aspects of the ‘problem’ that requires a solution.
