Don’t set your social media strategy on how YOU use social media

When you think about your audience – your niche of people – who you want to work with and bring on into the business, most often, the niche is someone like you, perhaps going through what you went through 1-5-10 years ago. This is often a great  niche to talk to, because you know them (the old you) intimately.

Where people often become unstuck, however, is in the place where the common catch cry of “you are your niche and your  niche is you” and you start thinking about how YOU use social media.

Perhaps you don’t watch LIVESTREAMS on Facebook. Perhaps you don’t sit and read a bunch of posts. Maybe you don’t spend on average 40mins per day on there like the 2.3Billion people who are on Facebook each month.

BUT do NOT base your social media strategy on this. Your people are different to you in that sense and are looking for someone to motivate, inspire, teach, entertain and educate them. They’re looking for someone that they can trust to take them through this journey and they are ON THERE more than what you think they are!

Check out today’s livestream where I talked into this exact topic.

PS. This is one of the topics we’re covering in my Business Badassery Mastermind, which is open to FOUNDERS until the 9th of August 2019. Find out more about it here.
