You can feel it, right? And see it, too, most likely.

More and more people jostling for attention. For their moment in the spotlight. For the attention of their prospects. And chances are, you are, too.

It doesn’t seem to matter these days if you’re employed or self-employed, you have to stand out. Like the rental market at the moment in most areas. There’s a HUGE waitlist. There are open inspections for rentals!!! You have to submit an application. Many deserving people will miss out because they just don’t stand out. There’s nothing to make them grab the attention of the agent who’s listing it.

Your business is the same. On social media? It’s the same.

You need the edge to stand out heads and shoulders above the rest of them!

You are deserving. (It doesn’t diminish any elses’ deservedness.).

You should be the one being paid.

You should be the one coaching.

But how do you do this?

Well, you’ve got to learn how to sell yourself!

Speak with certainty.

Write with certainty.

Position with certainty.

Sell with certainty.

Create with certainty.

Post with certainty.

But HOW???

1. Be you and own this. Remind yourself that you’re a badass mofo and that you have GOT THIS. That you have been down before and you’ve gotten back up every single time. That nobody else on this planet has your experience. Your knowledge. Your life experience. Your outlook. Your level of badassery! Your light. Your personality. Your humour. Your amazingness. M’Kay?

2. Know your niche inside out. Better than anyone else. Yes, this means you have to be specific. Freaking damn specific about WHO they are!!! You need to know what motivates them. What freaks them out. What they cry over. What they wet their knickers laughing over!!!!

3. Be bold and own your space. Declare that it’s yours and rock it out like nobody’s business!!!! You have to take on the energy of a leader. Of someone who is THERE. Of someone who is going to SHOW UP no matter what the heck is going on. Your way, baby. All. The. Way. Channel that energy of someone who is first-name-famous in their industry and if you need to, pretend that they have inhabited your body for a while and that you have their energy, their confidence, their certainty and GET OUT THERE!!!!

4. Make an impact. This means that you have to be seen frequently. It means you have to nail your message. It means you have to know your mission. It means you have to know why you’re doing what you’re doing. And then you just keep on going!!!

YOU are the edge, my friend!! You need to leverage all of WHO you ARE and who you’re becoming so that you can do the work you love. So that you can transform the world. So that you can make this happen for YOU.

Why?

Cause you’re a freaking badass and you ROCK!!!!
