I hope you’ve been having a really great week.
Have you ever had times in your life where you’ve said I am going to do this and it’s almost like the universe has other plans?
As you know, I have relaunched or reopened the doors to business in the last few weeks, and as you know, I have talked about the hotseat coming up in May which I’m super excited about.
The thing is, there are always going to be things that happen in our lives that get in the way of our plans. Is it annoying? Of course it is. It is the most annoying thing on the face of a planet. Well I think so anyway.
One of the things it has been really fun for me in the last 12 months or so off has been playing roller derby. It has been my saving grace and it has really been the thing that essentially saved my butt and and my brain and my heart from feeling like I had not a whole lot left to give.
However, wouldn’t you believe it two weekends ago I was playing a game with my mates in Adelaide and I did a really silly spin fall and landed on an outstretched right wrist and right butt cheek. if you’ve ever broken a bone anybody, or if you’ve ever been seriously injured, you always know that something is wrong almost immediately. I knew instantly that my wrist was broken. I could feel it. The pain was intense. I lay on my back, grabbing my arm, knowing that this was going to result in a hospital visit. I was very very sad.
Long story short yes my wrist is broken and I have spent the last week and a half dealing with the physical pain of a broken wrist that now has a plate and screws installed, the lack of independence with lots of things and being somewhat dependent, on, almost all of my family members to help me out. I know, I know it could be worse. I agree it could be. However, this is just what I’m dealing with at the moment.
Gay Hendricks talks about ‘upper limit problems’ in his book The Big Leap… and believe me, I’ve had plenty of time to reflect in the last couple of weeks about this exact thing, and what breaking my wrist at this exact moment in time actually means.
I’ve had some beautiful amazing new ideas that I am so excited about. I’ve put the bones together for a brand new book. I’ve got the content mapped out. I’ve done my Web of Awesome(TM). I’ve started plotting and planning and I’ve been super excited about it.
Then bam. Let’s just stop and take a minute. I’ve had time to consider if this was a sign from the universe, and of course to wonder what the heck that even means.
I do believe that it was just a dumb fall. Nothing is gonna stop me from fulfilling my life purpose, and my life’s mission. Which of course is to help as many women as humanly possible achieve the impact in their world that they believe they are here for.
Nothing’s going to stop me now!!
THE COFFEE RUN LIVE IS COMING BACK!!!
In exciting news, I will be going live with a return of my LIVE series on Facebook The Coffee Run. Happening on Tuesday at 11 am Victorian time. I’ve had emails and messages asking questions about various things that I’ve learned and insights from my time off as well as other questions that have come up during my timeout.
So be there or be square on my Facebook page: Nicola Moras – live at 11 am VIC time Tuesday, 26 March.
THINGS COMING UP
MAY 24 & 25 HOTSEAT – GOLD COAST
We’ll work on the biggest ‘thing’ going on in your business. It could be an idea you want to implement. It could be a big problem that you’re having in your business. It could be that you need a content plan for the next three, six or even twelve months.
You’ll connect and network with other business owners in the room. You’ll probably make some new friends who ‘get it’ and you!
You will walk away with an action plan of exactly what actions to take to meet your next goals!
You’ll start implementing in the room. Because immediate action on plans tends to generate a better result.
TL;DR
➡️ Hotseat. May 24 & 25th. Gold Coast.
➡️ Typically, people walk away with their content marketing plan nailed if they haven’t got one.
➡️ Their next 6-12 months of focus nailed.
➡️ They leave inspired, motivated and have had a bloody great time whilst there!
This is my jam! This is something I love running with people and I know that I can help you too if you’d like it!
Bottom line, You’ve Got This.
The world needs you… and your brand of awesome!!

Nicola
