Anyone else feel like it took 3 years to get through January… then you blinked and somehow it’s mid-April already?! Surely it’s not just me?
The year is flying by, and somehow, we’re already staring down the pointy end of the half-year mark. Vomit.
Something I’ve spoken a lot about over the years—especially in coaching conversations—is the need for support when it comes to actually getting stuff implemented in your business.
Sometimes that support means having someone take care of home life (because cleaning toilets instead of working? No, thank you). Sometimes it means hiring a VA to handle repetitive tasks you don’t need to be wasting brainpower on.
But here’s the thing: A LOT has changed since I first started this gig 15 years ago. Back then, you needed 15 tabs, 27 tools, and what felt like 488,754 subscriptions just to run your business online.
Fast forward to now?
- Transcripts are instant.
- Content syndication is streamlined.
- Most platforms integrate seamlessly.
- And AI? It’s gone from sci-fi to everyday sidekick.
Which raises the big, juicy question I explore in my latest podcast episode…
* Is AI coming to take your job? Your creativity? Your crown?*
Honestly? Who the heck knows. But here’s what I do know…
In this episode, I talk about all things AI—while walking the tree-lined streets of Adelaide, flashing back to smelly high school classrooms (you know the smell I mean), and figuring out how the heck to explain my job to a 12-year-old.
Here’s the real kicker:
AI can’t replace your humanness.
It can’t argue human rights in a courtroom.
It can’t make parenting decisions.
And it definitely can’t decide what lights you up, what you care about, or what’s next in your life or business.
But it can be a powerful diving board.
A creative kickstarter.
A cheeky thought-provoker.
A tool to challenge your thinking and help you build momentum—when you use it the right way.
If you’ve been wondering where AI fits into your world—or whether it’s making you irrelevant (it’s not)—this one’s for you.
And for the record?
I still think AI should be doing the bloody dishes. Not replacing our ideas. Priorities.
