Things are going well….

 

By anyone’s measure, you’ve bee doing well. Amazingly in fact…. But you’ve found yourself perhaps, well, wanting….

 

Wanting for a way to shake things up.

 

For all intents and purposes things are good…. Ok…..but at the same time kind of stagnant and you recognise this as a threat to your continuing success.

 

At different times you might wonder what it would be like to do things in a different way.

 

To try your hand at something different. Not a hobby.. but maybe a total reinvention.

 

You look at things critically and come to the conclusion that it’s not actually about doing something different as such, it’s more about wanting to change things up.

 

You no longer want ‘fine’.

 

You no longer want ‘okay’…

 

It’s a bit like the marriage that gets ‘comfortable’… where you’re more like mates than lovers.

 

The friendships that you used to have where you connected at a deep level and somehow the most exciting conversation you end up having is what kind of plants you put in the ground last weekend rather than the D&M’s you used to have….

 

It’s not that it’s bad.

 

It’s just that you recognise that things could be a LOT more amazing.

 

Where did the passion go?

 

Where did the fire go?

 

Where did the excitement go?

 

Like a colloquial mid-life crisis, you need some excitement back in your life – but not a destructive let’s go have an affair with someone 15 years your junior type of excitement…

 

 

I remember a few years ago having afternoon tea with some friends I’d  met through my business in London. We hadn’t seen other for a while and there were so many things going on in my world that were less than amazing, but as with a lot of business-type-friendships, the conversation moved over to business and marketing and the fun things that were going in the world of it all – for them and for myself.

 

We were discussing what we were working on and how we were all going about getting clients.

 

I remember talking about some of the things that I was doing at the time and I remember saying something along the lines of “if this’ is the price that I have to pay to reach people for the moment, then honestly, I’m ok with that. It’s only x hours per week that I need to be doing this xyz thing, so you know what? It is something I can bank on, so I just keep motoring on’..

 

BUT

 

In the back of my head, I was acknowledging that I also didn’t believe that I could  make money – and certainly not the multi-six-figs money – without doing thins thing.

 

It was ‘fine’ I said.

 

And I kept doing things in that way for a while longer before essentially blowing it all up.

 

You see, I’d become stagnant and I felt boring.

 

If YOU  feel boring, that is like a toxic nuclear disaster.

 

It’s going to ripple through E V E R Y T H I N G you do.

 

What rules have you made up without realising it? (Like mine being that I couldn’t make money – serious money – in a different way).

 

What are you conforming to that you could, quite frankly, just stop?

 

This is the beauty of having someone who has the TSHIRT “Been there, done that” … who can categorically and emphatically tell you that acutally, you AN do things in a different way … you’ve just got to remember how to THINK and how to dream and PLAY.

 

 

THINK.

 

DREAM.

 

PLAY.

 

Is it really that simple?

 

It can be….

 

If you’re willing to trust yourself.

 

I don’t want anyone to get to the point where they’re feeling like all they’re doing is working a job in a self-imposed cage because there’s a whole bunch of thin king that “this is the way because this is what I’ve always done or worse: this is what I’ve been told”…

 

Let’s kick it all off with a rewriting of future in the way that YOU want.

 

Let’s start off with a group of people who get iT.

 

Who get YOU.

 

Who are all looking for the zing, sizzle and explosion of amazing ideas and then the cheer squad around them as they execute these ideas and implement?

These are all a bunch of made up rules based on someone’s version of reality. Some of these beliefs I even held for a while..

 

But my personal opinion is this:

 

When you decide what you want to do, you can find a way that works for YOU to make it happen.

 

Yes, you need to implement. The Law of Attraction doesn’t work just by sitting there and focussing all of your attention on the future you want. You have to take the action. The ALIGNED action to bring that shizzle into reality.
