If you’re not getting the results you want, it comes down to two things:

- You’re not showing up enough
- You’re not selling enough
The ‘cold hard truth’ isn’t always pretty or fancy or soft and to be honest with you, almost everything in business boils down to these two things:

- You need to know how to market yourself
- You need to know to sell

You could have the fanciest fancy pants website, the best product or service under the sun, but here’s the thing….. if you don’t know how to sell and if you don’t know how to market, you’re going to remain invisible.
If people don’t know where to find you, then you’ll not make any sales.
If you are out there, but people don’t know what they can buy or how they can buy, guess what? You’ll make no money.
I was reading today about things that I can do in order to create and build my body in the way that I want it to be. I tell you what, I’ve learned a lot about this in the last 6 months and there are many things that I wish I knew years ago… although to be honest, I also acknowledge that I do also believe in divine right timing of things – when the student is ready the teacher appears, right?
I was slapped with some realities of what you can actually expect if you follow the guidelines. I learned about the reality of how long it takes body composition to change. And that there are essentially 3 factors involved in getting what you want.

- What you put in your mouth
- How you move your body
- What you specially do whilst moving your body
When you leverage these 3 things, tweak, adjust and remain consistent over time, eventually you’ll get the results you want. It’s like Pantene says though, “It won’t happen overnight but it will happen”.
Marketing and business, positioning and getting results are the same. You have to know how to market yourself (and grow your positioning) if you want to get the results (sales) you want and grow your business.
If you’re not getting the results you want, look at these two things.
The problem these days with people online, is that we’ve been ‘sold’ on the idea that you can be an internet zillionaire – living the laptop lifestyle to boot – if you simply throw some stuff up on Facey or The Gram and you’ll make all of the sales. “Just be an influencer”.
It’s. Not. The. Way. Things. Work!
You need to put in time and effort.
You need to be consistent.
You need to be YOURSELF.
You need to know how (and when) to close.
You need to be original.
You need to have grit.
You need to be in it for the long haul.
Yes, you can also get results short term, but you’ve got to find a way to dig deep and keep going to really leverage your online rep.
So on that note, if you learn these two things: How to market yourself and How to close sales then it doesn’t matter how you change, what products you create, how you pivot or what you do in the long term, you’ll be able to make things work.
If you don’t know these two things you’re destined to fail.
And you don’t to fail.
You’re here to change the world.
You’re here to change your world.
You’re here to help as many people as you can…
So get these two things under your belt and you’ll be on your way.
