I used to look at people who were doing better than me and wonder ‘what do they know or do that I don’t?”

 

I had a convo with a friend this weekend about this and how I was always looking outside of me for the answers as to why I wasn’t further along.

 

What have they got that I don’t?

 

What do they know that I don’t know?

 

Why do they know that and I don’t?

 

I remember how it felt. That empty pit in me wondering why I wasn’t where I wanted to be yet..

Why am I not ‘there yet’?

I’m not muscly enough yet..

Not skinny enough ‘yet’…

Not rich enough yet..

 

Not popular enough yet

Not big enough

Not enough fans

My list isn’t big enough

 

I always remember wondering if I’d missed the memo… it’s like not getting an invite to a killer party and all the people you know got one..

 

WHAT THE FCK IS WRONG WITH ME?

 

I’m a good person.

My stuff works.

I know how to sell.

I know how to market…

 

So what the heck am I missing here?

 

I believed that I was born for more.

More than ‘getting by’.

 

More than many would settle for (not that there’s anything wrong with that if that’s what YOU want).

 

You see… I had the systems. I had the processes. I had the tech. I had everything you could have and need… but still I wasn’t ‘there yet’.

 

It finally clicked I wasn’t fully doing what I wanted to do, every day.  I wasn’t being how I wanted to BE every day.

 

I had some decisions to make…

 

I realised that what was ‘missing’ wasn’t really missing. It was just not being allowed out to play except in certain situations.

 

I wasn’t fully, 10%, unapologetically being me, every day.

I was making compromises, settling – in my way.

 

I thought that the ‘key’ to success was only about scalability and then some. But it doesn’t always translate the way you’d think.

 

Success in business online these days…

 

Yes. YOU need the system.

Yes. You need to know the tech.

Yes you need to know the frameworks.

 

But the ‘thing’ that makes it all work is you being you.

 

Every. Single. Freaking. Day.

 

And sharing THAT out there in the world.

 

Finding more of that soul spark. Finding more of fragments of individuality and fun and depth that the world is craving.

 

We NEED you to be you.

 

We are craving authenticity.

 

We are craving real, raw connectedness.

 

We need it. There’s so much BS out there, that the only thing that’s going to cut through is allowing your soul to speak – your message to hit on the right people. Your programs to strike a chord in their souls.

 

Otherwise you’re just another coach, therapist, mentor, motivator who appears t have on fucking substance, which would be the worst thing ever.

 

Show up. Be you.

 

Drop the fear.

Drop the procrastination.

Drop the masks and

Drop the excuses

 

There is  nothing ‘they’ have that you don’t.

There is not a secret society that you need to belong to in order to make this work

 

Get all the pieces sorted and then layer YOU through all of it.

 

After all,

 

The world is ready for YOUR brand of awesomeness.

 

I realised that they didn’t know ‘more’ than me.

They didn’t have a secret key that I didn’t know.

They didn’t do things that I wasn’t doing….

 

The thing that made it all work was the balance between the system and the human.

The structure and the flow.

The being THEM and using that within everything to grow bigger.

I realised that when I finally let go of the thought that they were all in some secret club that I didn’t even know existed, I finally ‘go there’. I finally found ‘the way’.

 

The way in is the way out. And up.
