One of the great questions you can ask yourself is “Is there anything getting in the way of [INSERT THING HERE eg. Making money] today?” And then seeing what comes out.

Let’s use making money as an example

Then, write and ask yourself do you believe that you CAN make money today and in this way?

And then you’ll write out all of the reasons why you believe that you can or why you believe you can’t.

I have used this exact process and the stuff that’s come out of it was ‘interesting’

Here was what I wrote a while ago to this question:

Logically yes. I’ve seen others do it so why can’t I?

• And that prompted a whole load of points around why I can’t.
  • Demands on time
  • I’m not experienced enough in doing it this way

BULLSHIT!! BULLLLLLLSHIT.

So then, you’ll explore this:

 

What are the reasons it WON’T work for me?

And you’ll list it all out.

Some of the ‘stuff’ that I’ve said before have been things like:

• My database is unresponsive
• My page is unresponsive
• It just takes forever
• Selling all the time feels icky
• Why would they buy from me
• I’m not articulate enough
• They don’t or won’t see the value
• Not talking to the right niche
• The market is flooded

A lot of bullshit, right?

This all boils down to fear and self doubt. You can see that, right?

Fear and self doubt are like the tempter. The snake. The villain. The evilness. The shadow self. The dark side.

We’ve talked about all of the reasons why something won’t work a lot.

But what about this (this is the next step for you) What are all the reasons it WILL work for you?

 

• Because my stuff is awesome
• Because people like my stuff
• They want to learn from me at a deeper level
• They just can’t not buy from me
• It will work because people always buy from me
• Because I’m aligned
• Because I’m sharing my truth
• Because I’m an expert
• Because this is why I’m here!

If any of this sounds familiar and like you’ve been tempted by the snake to buy into it’s whispery slivery ways and stop. Or slow down. Or change things up. Or pivot – again. Or do something to sabotage.

Stop it!

Here’s the thing to consider: When you’re being YOU in what you’re doing and you’re coaching, training, teaching, writing, sharing, lawyering, delivering or selling whatever it is that you are passionate about, it always works.

Always.

Think to yourself: If I do this and I get one client there’s some validation right there.

If it feels aligned, there’s the validation.

It can be tough to keep up momentum when you interpret a lack of financial dollars being banked into your account as failure.

Sometimes the world just needs to catch up to you and what you’re doing.

This way has to work. It just has to. It’s the way that things are meant to be.

It IS working. All the validation has been there. Have you been paying attention to it as it’s coming through? Maybe you should do that.

This is a piece of that validation, y’all. THIS.

SO let the fuck go!

Once you’ve worked through these steps, write out this phrase over and over again and say it over and over again in your head as often per day as you can.

I deserve and accept lavish abundance every day and in every way in my life and I my business. I specifically give thanks for the lavish abundance I receive today.

Now, yes, this sounds all a little ‘woo’ and perhaps esoteric, but I’d encourage you to try something.

The other day, just before walking into the grocery store, there was a man (who I assumed was homeless, but wasn’t certain because I didn’t actually ask him) playing a guitar with his hat on the ground, ready for donations. It was 42degrees here that day (110F for those who measure that way) and my husband and I walked passed him. I turned around, got $5 out of the back of my phone and gave it to him. And went into the store.

I’ve been reciting a kind of mantra over the last week specifically and it goes like this “I am grateful and expect 10times or more to come back to me, NOW”.

I recite the mantra at different times during the day and in different ways and in different tones. However once said, I kind of forget about it. It gets said, I consider it done and let it go.

The next day, my daughter walked into my office and handed me a $50 gift card. 10 Times the amount I’d gifted the man without any expectation or attachment. I was just being kind. 

Why don’t you try it? See what happens?

Now, the ‘trick’ here is about being unattached to any outcome or trying to make the return happen. Just be aware.

The clearer we are with our intentions and the more self aware we are, the more simple success, business growth, joy and alignment comes in, every single day.
