If YOU are feeling apathetic or uninspired in your business and in your message, what do you THINK is going to happen when you put it out there?

It would be like going on a date for the first time and offering one word responses to questions and in conversations.

If you are feeling uninspired about what you do, then how on earth do you think you’re going to be INSPIRING to others?

If you’re feeling ho hum or FREAKING LAZY about what you’re doing…. don’t you think that this is going to come on through in EVERYTHING you put out there?

This is why ALIGNMENT of you always comes first.

This is part of the reason that I hammer it home to clients (and you) that you need to share more than just about what you ‘DO’….

You also need to share things about yourself, your thinking, WHY you think the way that you do.

Share things that demonstrate your VALUES

Share things that demonstrate what you also care about outside of business.

Share FUNNY things.

Entertain.

Tell stories.

Let people INTO your world…

Everyone else is ‘selling’ the 1’s and 0’s and that’s great for a SMALL percentage of people, but honestly…

Where the magic happens…

Where the magic ALWAYS happens is when people get an insight into YOU, your personality, your wisdom, your character, your fun side.

Humans are multi faceted.

You are therefore, multi faceted…

And guess what?

Your AUDIENCE are multi faceted.

So play into that and share different things about you all the damn time….

Because THAT thing that you share today could be that ONE THING that someone needed to hear from you that tips them over the edge to working with you and getting results

That ONE THING that you share could resonate with them SOOOO deeply that they go WOW. YES. YOU are the person that I need in my world.

And then, shazam. They become a client.

This is EXACTLY how I invested with the most recent mentor who I work with.

We were friends online but I didn’t really follow much of her stuff, but posts every now and again would come through and I’d be like “Oh yeah…. ” and move on.

Then one day she talked about how she had a great business, burned it to the ground and built something else.

And THAT was THE post that got me.

So do that for YOUR people.

Share your stuff.

It also means that you need to OWN yourself. Your stories. Your experience. Your message….

This is all about OWNING THE LEADER WITHIN.
